I was the Lead Design Program Manager at Logitech and managed multiple business groups throughout the 7 years I was there. I launched products in the Video Collaboration, Ultimate Ears, Astro Gaming, and Streamers and Creators space and also highlighted my management skills while supporting the career and growth of 3 employees including our Design PM intern.
I managed the NPI, Software, marketing campaign and packaging development for Logitech Blue Sona and Litra Beam. Alongside that launch was the Logitech G Cloud handheld console, Logitech G Pro Racing Wheel and Pro Racing Pedals, Logitech G Astro A30 Gaming Headset, Logitech G Fits. Over 50,000 viewers tuned in and the products up-leveled the gaming, streamer and creator space.
I worked closely with the design, product, engineering and marketing team to manage the launch of Litra Beam. Logitech acquired Litra which I helped onboard the team to the Logitech process so we could successfully launch this product.
The 2021 Super Bowl featured a spot with Lil Nas X which highlighted the Logitech product portfolio. I personally was responsible for managing Streamlabs, Ultimate Ears, and Blue Microphones at the time this $5M spot went live in the first quarter for the 2021 Super Bowl.
I was responsible for managing the full NPI design phase of the product launch which included CMF, ID, UX, packaging including the localization. I partnered closely with the Product Manager to help come up with solutions when problems arose including the decision to include an optical port so the speaker can easily be plugged into TVs without having Bluetooth latency. While creating the HYPERBOOM our team looked at ways to eliminate virgin plastic and was able to use PCR plastic on the housing, top door, and battery bracket. This project supported our Design for Sustainability goals to reduce carbon and toxicity while improving circularity.
I was responsible for managing the Portfolio rebrand of Ultimate Ears. We partnered with the graffiti artist Bicicleta Sem Freio which was a $2.5M campaign launch. It included the Ultimate Ears BLAST, MEGABOOM, BOOM 2, WONDERBOOM, and ROLL 2. In addition to the website redesign the packaging was also completely uplifted. With this campaign launch the packaging was also improved with a cost reduction of approximately $800k for the Ultimate Ears MEGABOOM, BOOM 2, and WONDERBOOM. The plastic was removed entirely as was the foam resulting in a 100% sustainable packaging project. The packaging architecture used less material overall. Overall, there was a reduction to the weight of packaging, the carbon footprint, and the lifecycle water use.
I was responsible for the NPI, app, packaging, imagery, and web launch for this incredible webcam. This was my first full end to end product launch at Logitech and it was a huge success. It was the first 4k webcam on the market and our team created an incredible experience from end to end.
I took part of managing the first commercial SaaS product that Logitech launched while managing the software design and development, ID, CMF, UX, user testing, packaging, imagery, and web design. As part of the go to market strategy Logitech offered one month of Circle Safe free to customers which kept the footage captured by Circle available for viewing and downloading for 31 days. In order to keep that feature users needed to sign up for $9.99/month. The product was so successful that Circle 2 launched in 2017 and Circle Doorbell launched in 2020.
This document I updated weekly to keep the executive leadership up to date on project status and resource needs. Please note some content has been blacked out for confidentiality.
This onboard took 2 weeks and had a detailed list of documents that team members would cover as well as self study material. Everything could be leveraged following the onboarding.
